ServiceNow ITOM Test Engineer

Hiring Location : Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Noida, Hyderabad, Kochi & Trivandrum

Must-Have Skills

- 5+ years of overall experience in ServiceNow Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience testing ServiceNow ITOM modules:
- Discovery
- Service Mapping
- Event Management
- CMDB

- Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of ServiceNow applications.
- Hands-on experience in CMDB data validation, reconciliation, Configuration Item (CI) relationship testing, and data integrity validation.
- Experience testing ServiceNow integrations with monitoring and third-party tools.
- Solid knowledge of ServiceNow tables, CI classes, and relationship models.
- Proficiency in SQL or other query languages for backend data validation.
- Experience using Jira, HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or similar test management and defect tracking tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes.
- Knowledge of ITOM–ITSM integrations.
- Experience working with enterprise monitoring tools integrated with ServiceNow.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- ServiceNow ITOM or CSA/CIS certifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, integration, regression,



and end-to-end testing for ServiceNow ITOM applications.
- Validate Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and CMDB implementations.
- Test integrations between ServiceNow and monitoring/third-party tools.
- Verify CMDB data quality, reconciliation, CI relationships, and overall data integrity.
- Execute backend data validation using SQL or other query languages.
- Log, track, and manage defects using standard test management tools.
- Collaborate with development, platform, and business teams to ensure successful delivery of ServiceNow solutions.
