Roles & Responsibilities

ServiceNow SAM Pro Implementation

- Design, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow Software Asset Management Professional (SAM Pro) platform.
- Configure software models, entitlements, normalization, reconciliation, and discovery.
- Manage the end-to-end software asset lifecycle and optimize platform performance.

Publisher Pack Management

- Configure and customize Publisher Packs for Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM licensing.




- Manage Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and Windows Server licensing.
- Configure Oracle license reconciliation and Effective License Position (ELP) reporting.
- Integrate IBM License Metric Tool (ILMT) and manage PVU-based licensing.

Shopping Hub & Procurement Integration

- Integrate Shopping Hub, Shopping Cart, and Service Catalog with SAM Pro.
- Automate software request, approval, provisioning, deployment, and reclamation workflows using Flow Designer.
- Configure Procurement and Asset Management integrations for software entitlement creation.

License Optimization & Compliance

- Develop dashboards and compliance reports.
- Identify software reclamation opportunities to optimize licensing costs.
- Support audit readiness and enterprise software compliance initiatives.

ServiceNow Development

- Develop custom solutions using JavaScript and ServiceNow platform capabilities.
- Build and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer workflows.
- Implement platform automation to improve operational efficiency.

Integrations & Data Management

- Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and Integration Hub.
- Integrate ServiceNow with procurement platforms, vendor portals, and inventory systems.




- Manage software entitlement imports using Transform Maps, Import Sets, and Data Loads.
- Ensure high-quality software asset and entitlement data.

Required Qualifications

- 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro implementation and configuration.
- Strong expertise in software models, entitlements, normalization, and reconciliation.
- Experience working with Publisher Packs for Microsoft, Oracle, and IBM.
- Hands-on experience integrating Shopping Hub, Shopping Cart, and Service Catalog.
- Strong development experience with JavaScript, Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP API integrations.
- Experience with Transform Maps, Import Sets, and Data Loads.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM)
