Job Title : Lead ServiceNow Regression Tester

Experience Range

8+ Years (5+ years of relevant ServiceNow Testing experience with proven Regression Test Lead experience)

- 8+ years of experience in software testing with extensive experience in ServiceNow Testing.
- Proven experience leading Regression Testing for enterprise-scale ServiceNow implementations.
- Solid hands-on experience with ServiceNow Administration.
- Expertise in:
- Regression Test Strategy & Planning
- Regression Test Suite Design & Maintenance
- Test Case Development
- Test Execution
- Release Validation

- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow applications, including:

- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Vulnerability Management

- Experience supporting:

- System Integration Testing (SIT)
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Strong experience in:

- Defect Management
- Root Cause Analysis
- Regression Defect Validation
- Test Reporting

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Agile development and sprint-based delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Experience with ServiceNow test automation tools and frameworks.
- ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Certification.
- ITIL Foundation Certification or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale ServiceNow transformation or modernization programs.
- Experience preparing and transitioning regression test assets to production support teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the strategy, planning,



and execution of regression testing across the ServiceNow transformation program.
- Identify business-critical functionality impacted by project changes and ensure comprehensive regression coverage.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously enhance regression test suites and test cases.
- Collaborate with business SMEs to validate and obtain approval for regression test scenarios.
- Execute regression testing before sprint deployments, UAT cycles, and production releases.
- Validate that new changes do not impact existing production functionality.
- Investigate regression failures, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate defect resolution.
- Manage the complete defect lifecycle, including logging, prioritization, tracking, validation, and closure.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Produce regression testing reports, defect summaries, quality metrics, and release readiness assessments.
- Identify testing risks and recommend mitigation strategies to ensure high-quality releases.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and multiple implementation partners to maintain testing standards and support successful ServiceNow deployments.
