We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Java knowledge. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline implementation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native deployment. Candidates should also be comfortable understanding and working with Java applications to support build, deployment, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines for Java-based applications.
- Automate application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Manage source code repositories using GitHub and GitLab.
- Configure and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize Java application deployment and performance.
- Troubleshoot build, deployment, and production issues.
- Implement DevOps best practices for monitoring, security, automation,
and configuration management.
- Support containerization and orchestration platforms where applicable.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve release efficiency and system reliability.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of overall IT experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in DevOps engineering.
- Positive understanding of Java applications and build processes.
- Expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Strong experience with GitHub and GitLab .
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting.
- Good knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk is an advantage.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and automation skills.
