We are hiring an SDE 2 Backend Engineer to support the design, development, and maintenance of scalable backend services and APIs. The role will involve owning backend workstreams, building reliable system integrations, improving performance and observability, and contributing to production stability.

The engineer will work closely with product, frontend, QA, DevOps,



and other engineering stakeholders to deliver roadmap items and support ongoing platform needs. This role requires strong backend development experience, problem-solving ability, ownership mindset, and the ability to independently deliver medium-to-large technical initiatives.

The position is required to improve backend execution capacity and support faster, more predictable delivery of business-critical features.

Responsibilities:
System Design & Development: Architect and implement clean, modular, and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and modern microservice principles.
Database Management: Design productive database schemas and write optimized queries for RDS (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and, optionally, NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
Messaging & Event-Driven Systems: Integrate Kafka or RabbitMQ to build robust and loosely-coupled event-driven architectures.
Caching Strategies: Leverage Redi
