Summary The Lab Instructor supports the teaching and learning processes by assisting faculty in conducting laboratory sessions, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth execution of practical classes.

Responsibilities:

- Assist faculty members in planning and conducting laboratory sessions for undergraduate engineering courses.
- Prepare laboratory setups, materials, and equipment prior to each practical session.
- Guide students in performing experiments and using instruments safely and effectively.
- Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and storage of laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Maintain inventory of lab materials, consumables, and tools; initiate requests for replenishment as needed.
- Support in developing lab manuals, experiment documentation, and demonstration materials.
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and assist in implementing laboratory safety measures.
- Help in the installation and testing of current lab equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and readiness of the laboratory at all times.




- Assist in departmental activities such as workshops, project demonstrations, and exhibitions.
- Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to the concerned faculty or department head.

Qualifications Required:

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) in a relevant discipline.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience may apply.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures, tools, and instruments related to the assigned department.

Skills Required:

- Technical aptitude and interest in hands-on experimentation.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to guide students effectively.
- Ability to handle instruments carefully and follow safety guidelines.
- Basic computer proficiency for lab record keeping and reporting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to emerging technologies and laboratory practices.
