Job Title Lab Assistant Required Number 1 Qualification Postgraduate degree in Media & Communication, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.

Proficiency in Photography, Videography, and Video Editing. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, After Effects) or equivalent software.

Basic knowledge of camera systems, lighting, audio recording, and studio management.

Positive organizational, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to work flexibly during departmental events and academic activities.

Support the Department in campus and departmental visual documentation, including photography and videography of academic, cultural, and institutional events.

Perform photo and video editing for departmental publications, social media, websites, and archival purposes.

Assist in the production of multimedia content for teaching, research, and outreach activities.

Maintain and manage the Media Lab and Studio Floor,



ensuring equipment is organized, functional, and ready for use.

Monitor and maintain cameras, lighting systems, audio equipment, computers, and other studio resources.

Provide technical assistance to faculty and students during practical sessions, workshops, and media productions.

Organize and archive digital media files following departmental standards.

Coordinate equipment check-in/check-out and maintain inventory records.

Assist in setting up studios, classrooms, and venues for photography, videography, and live productions. S upport departmental events and other university activities requiring media and technical assistance.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of the Department or designated faculty members.
