As a Functional Safety Lead within central functional safety team, you will be part of a global center of competence where you will be responsible to define processes, instructions and templates in accordance to ISO26262 which will be applied by multiple technology teams/departments. The team you will be part of is also responsible to provide expert guidance and help the design or developemnt teams to apply the same in their domains and functions. While also, review and assess the sufficient safety measures, adherence to said process and instructions. This includes both in-house development teams with system, hardware and software and also supplier developed components and solutions.




You shall also collaborate with design teams in the design of effective technical solutions aimed to achieve adequate robustness at system, subsystem and software architectural level if required.Qualification and Competencies
B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech within Mechatronics, Embedded Software, Electrical, Electronics or Electromechanical Engineering.
Minimum 12+ years of experience in automotive system/ software development with Functional Safety, in ASIL C and ASIL D.
Basic awareness towards hardware functional safety experience a plus.
Previous experience with functional safety related to IEC 61508, EN 50128, or ISO 26262.
Knowledge/ documentation experience on ISO 26262 Part 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 are preferred, and Part 5 and 7 is a plus.
Experience with C, C++ programming and/or model-based design using Simulink is a plus.
Requirements management tools (e.g., JAMA, Doors, Polarion, etc.), issue tracking tools (Jira, etc.), and SW version control tools (e.g., Git, Azu
