We are seeking a seasoned Kenan Developer to join our core engineering team in Bangalore, tasked with driving the evolution of our mission-critical billing infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of complex billing cycles within a high-scale telecom environment. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, system architects, and global stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.
Your work will directly influence the accuracy and efficiency of revenue management systems, ensuring seamless service delivery and optimal performance for millions of telecom subscribers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement complex billing solutions within the Kenan Billing System to ensure high availability and data integrity for large-scale telecom operations.
- Design and optimize high-performance database schemas and stored procedures using SQL and PL-SQL to handle massive transaction volumes efficiently.
- Develop and integrate custom Java-based modules to extend the functionality of existing billing applications, meeting evolving business demands.
- Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of billing software projects, from initial requirement gathering and system design to deployment and post-production support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to troubleshoot critical system issues,
ensuring minimal downtime and maximum system reliability.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of software quality and architectural consistency across the team.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and customizing the Kenan Billing System, with a deep understanding of its core architecture and configuration within a telecom ecosystem.
- Advanced proficiency in Java development, coupled with the ability to write complex, optimized SQL and PL-SQL queries for large-scale relational databases.
- Strong grasp of Telecom Billing System Architecture, including rating, discounting, and invoicing processes, to effectively navigate and enhance complex revenue streams.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively within a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of diagnosing and resolving intricate system bottlenecks in high-pressure production environments.
- A minimum of 6 - 15 years of professional experience in the telecom domain, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver scalable enterprise-grade software.
