Role Description The Junior Video Editor role is a full-time remote position responsible for supporting the creation and refinement of video content for marketing, branding, and client projects. The individual in this role will edit raw footage, assemble sequences, add transitions, synchronize audio, and perform basic color correction to ensure high-quality output that aligns with project requirements and brand guidelines.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with the creative and marketing teams, organizing and managing media assets,



implementing feedback from senior editors or project leads, and preparing videos in various formats for digital platforms.

The Junior Video

Editor will also assist with straightforward motion graphics, basic visual enhancements, and quality checks to maintain consistency across all video deliverables.

Qualifications

- Ability to work with Video Production processes, including handling raw footage and organizing media assets.
- Proficiency in Video Editing tools and techniques, with experience assembling sequences, trimming clips, and adding transitions.
- Foundational skills in Video Color Grading to adjust color, exposure, and overall visual tone for cohesive output.
- Basic understanding of Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple titles, lower thirds, and visual elements that support storytelling.
- Familiarity with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and graphic tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop or similar).
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Effective communication skills and openness to feedback, with the ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, and project teams.
- Relevant coursework, certification, or a degree in film, media, design, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing work is highly beneficial.
