Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Video Editor at Specular Business Services.

The Junior Video

Editor will support the creation of digital video content for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, and client projects. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, trimming and sequencing clips, adding transitions, basic effects, and audio elements, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and project objectives.



The role involves collaborating with designers, marketers, and senior editors to refine visual storytelling, maintain quality standards, and deliver projects on time.

The Junior Video

Editor will also assist in organizing media assets, exporting files in required formats, and adapting content for different platforms and aspect ratios.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated skills in Video Editing and Video Production for digital and social media content.
- Ability to perform Video Color Grading to ensure consistent visual tone and high-quality output.
- Experience creating basic Motion Graphics and working with Graphics to enhance visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and familiarity with motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects).
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow creative briefs, and openness to feedback and revisions.
- Valuable time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a remote setup.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education or training in film, media, design, communication, or a related field is preferred; a portfolio showcasing video work is required.
