Role Description The Junior Software Engineer will support the design, development, testing, and maintenance of internal software tools and platforms that enable KARV Capital’s wealth management operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, troubleshooting and debugging back-end services, assisting in database integration, and collaborating with senior engineers on new features and enhancements. The role also involves documenting technical specifications, participating in code reviews,
and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
This is a full time hybrid role based in Kota, with a mix of in-office collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Competence in Software Development and Programming, with exposure to at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
- Understanding of Back-End Web Development, including server-side frameworks, RESTful APIs, and database interactions.
- Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply OOP principles in designing maintainable software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices.
- Ability to learn quickly, take guidance from senior team members, and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; interest in fintech or wealth management technology is an advantage.
