Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Executive – Stores & Inventory to manage day-to-day store operations and maintain accurate inventory records. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally data entry, inventory management, and material handling while ensuring timely documentation and stock accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Tally ERP and ensure all transactions are updated on time.
- Perform data entry for Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material issues, stock transfers, and purchase entries.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of inventory.
- Monitor stock levels and inform the reporting manager about reorder requirements.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Maintain all store-related documentation, registers, and inventory reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Accounts departments for smooth material flow.
- Ensure compliance with storekeeping procedures, safety norms, and housekeeping standards.
- Support internal and external audits by providing inventory records and documentation.
- Assist in implementing inventory control measures to minimize wastage and losses.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in Tally ERP and ensure all transactions are updated on time.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, or any relevant discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Inventory/Store Management is an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with Tally ERP (data entry and inventory modules) is mandatory.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Basic understanding of purchase and inventory documentation.
- Ability to work independently and maintain accountability for inventory.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- High level of integrity and responsibility.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
