Number of Position: One (1) Location: Solan, Himachal Pradesh Organization Name: Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC) Organization Profile: Centre for Chronic Disease Control (CCDC) is a not-for-profit research organization engaged in knowledge generation and knowledge translation for the prevention and control of non-communicable (chronic) diseases in varied settings of developing countries. CCDC has been recognized as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. CCDC also holds recognition as a WHO Collaborating Centre for Surveillance, Capacity Building and Translational Research in Cardio-metabolic diseases and is an ICMR Collaborating Centre of Excellence.
Project Brief: In the National Program for Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD), several digital applications and services aim to enhance screening, compliance, and control of NCDs, while improving access to healthcare. The DigiCare Project is a National Health Research Priority Initiative, aimed at developing and implementing a digital health system model to promote the adoption and effective use of existing digital health interventions under the NP-NCD. The project will be conducted by CCDC in Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
It will follow a three-phase approach: formative assessment, co-design, and final intervention implementation and evaluation. The proposed implementation strategies will focus on strengthening the district’s digital infrastructure, building the digital competence of healthcare providers, redesigning NCD workflows and reorganizing tasks for digital adaptation, developing motivational strategies to improve digital technology adoption and utilization, and enhancing data quality and usage for monitoring purposes. The development of intervention will be guided by a theory of change, which will be modified as needed based on findings from the formative phase.
The Junior Consultant will contribute in the following manner: CCDC is seeking a highly responsible person with good managerial skills C technical expertise for the execution and monitoring of the DigiCare Project. The position requires teamwork, positive organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee on-ground program implementation activities in collaboration with other team members.
Conduct field visits to project sites as required to support data collection and program execution.
Lead the development of training resource materials and conduct training programs for the project’s technical support staff.
Plan, coordinate, and assist in conducting on-site data collection and ensure overall data quality.
Coordinate all on-field program implementation activities.
Plan, organize, and manage all program meetings and workshops.
Report on a day-to-day basis to the Program Lead regarding the project and seek timely advice whenever necessary.
Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Project Investigators.

Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor to support the successful implementation of the project.
Regularly check and monitor the project requirements.
Coordinate with other project staff and other local stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of project activities.
Attend and participate in meetings as needed.
Essential
Responsibilities and Requirements MBBS / BVSc / BDS with three years’ post qualification experience. Or
MBBS / BVSc / BDS + Post Graduate Degree (MD/MVSc. / MDS/MPH) or any equivalent degree, including integrated PG degrees. Or
MBBS/BVSc/ BDS with PhD
Experience in field work and data collection.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Willingness to travel to the project sites as needed.
Proficiency in Hindi and English.
Working knowledge of Ms Word, Excel, Zoom platform, Android applications and other digital applications.
Desirable
Proficiency in English, Hindi and/or local language [Mahasu Pahari]
Experience of working in a health facility setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Reporting The Junior
Consultant will report to the assigned project leadership from the central CCDC team and work closely with district- and block-level stakeholders in Solan.
