We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern who is eager to learn and build scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of backend development, databases, and APIs, and be passionate about solving technical challenges while working alongside experienced developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining backend applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code.
- Develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot backend issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Document backend processes and APIs.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Python, Java, Node.js, or any backend programming language.
- Understanding of REST APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, Spring Boot, Express.js, or FastAPI is an advantage.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or Docker is a plus.
