Job Title: Junior Accountant Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team in managing day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of accounting experience.

Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.

Prepare and post journal entries accurately.

Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations.

Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, and expense reports.

Maintain and update general ledger accounts.

Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities as applicable.

Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, auditors, and banks when required.





Generate financial reports and assist management with accounting-related tasks.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA Finance, or equivalent).

Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills Knowledge of GST and basic taxation.

Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations.

Familiarity with ERP or cloud-based accounting software.
