JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Jr Mech Engg to support the maintenance and reliability of plant machinery and utilities.



The successful candidate will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, breakdown analysis, and ensuring uninterrupted operation of manufacturing equipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of production machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose equipment failures and carry out effective troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Conduct root cause analysis of machine breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely maintenance of plant machinery, utilities, and mechanical systems.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, and daily maintenance reports.
- Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, GMP requirements, and company maintenance standards.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, and modification of new machinery and equipment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance and reduce maintenance costs.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

- Robust knowledge of mechanical maintenance and industrial equipment.




- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting production machinery.
- Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, gearboxes, compressors, and utility equipment.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively during equipment breakdowns.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with GMP environments will be an added advantage.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

- ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical maintenance within pharmaceutical, API, chemical, FMCG, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience in preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and machine troubleshooting.
- Local candidates residing near Attibele or willing to relocate will be preferred.
