Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Assistant to support the Accounts team with day-to-day accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge and experience in purchase entry, invoice processing, and maintaining financial records.

Key Responsibilities

- Enter purchase invoices and bills accurately into the accounting system.
- Verify purchase documents and ensure proper record maintenance.
- Assist in preparing purchase registers and vendor records.
- Maintain and organize invoices, vouchers, and other accounting documents.
- Support accounts payable activities and vendor reconciliations.
- Assist with bank entries, journal entries, and basic accounting transactions.
- Coordinate with the Purchase and Stores departments for invoice-related queries.
- Maintain data accuracy and ensure timely entry of transactions.




- Support month-end closing activities as required.
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks assigned by the Accounts Manager.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Accounts.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge of purchase entry and invoice processing.
- Familiarity with MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally systems) is preferred.
