Key Responsibilities

- Monitor NDTV Profit's live TV programming and identify high-impact moments, interviews, discussions, and market-moving clips.

- Curate and edit video clips for publishing across social media platforms.

Spot opportunities to convert TV content into standalone vertical videos and digital-first formats.

- Assist with YouTube livestream operations, including scheduling streams, updating metadata, monitoring live broadcasts, and ensuring smooth publishing workflows.

- Write compelling captions, headlines, and social copy tailored to different platforms.

- Create or coordinate thumbnails and other visual assets for social distribution.

Work closely with the social media team to optimize content for audience engagement and reach.

- Track content performance and contribute ideas based on trends and audience behaviour.

- Stay on top of developments in business, markets, technology, and current affairs.

What We're Looking For

- Robust interest in journalism, business news, markets, and current affairs.





- Sharp editorial judgment and the ability to identify compelling content quickly.

- Familiarity with YouTube, X, Instagram Reels, and short-form video formats.

- Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar tools).

- Ability to write clear, accurate, and engaging social media copy.

- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Comfortable working either an early morning shift (starting at 7:30 AM) or an evening shift (ending at 9:30 PM).

- Must bring and work on a personal laptop throughout the internship.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
