About The Role

Join our team as a Virtual Medical Scribe. In this role, you will assist US-based physicians in real-time or near real-time, document patient encounters, enter patient history, and update Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Key Responsibilities

Listen to real-time clinical encounters or audio recordings
Accurately document clinical evaluations, diagnoses, prescriptions, and follow-up plans
Navigate and update electronic charts during patient visits
Ensure compliance with HIPAA security standards for patient health information
Verify documentation with the physician before final signing
Participate in continuous specialty training to stay updated on clinical standards

Requirements

Excellent listening skills and fluent verbal and written English (to understand physician-patient interactions)




Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology
Proficiency in navigation of Electronic Health Record (EHR) software
Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM with excellent spelling and grammar
Strong multitasking skills and cognitive ability to summarize clinical discussions
Bachelor's degree in a life sciences field or equivalent healthcare experience
