Role Objective To conceptualize and design high-quality, creative jewellery pieces that align with brand aesthetics and market trends. This role bridges the gap between creative vision and technical manufacturing feasibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Conceptualization: Create original sketches and detailed technical drawings for collections (Fine Jewellery, Couture, or Daily Wear)
- Trend Analysis: Research global fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and seasonal forecasts to ensure designs remain competitive
- Material Selection: Select appropriate gemstones, metals, and materials based on aesthetics, durability, and budget constraints
- Prototyping:
Collaborate with master craftsmen and goldsmiths to oversee the development of samples and refine prototypes
- Portfolio Management: Maintain an organized digital and physical library of all designs and iterations
Candidate Profile Education: Degree or Diploma in Jewellery Design (GIA, NIFT, or equivalent).
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the jewellery industry.
Technical Skills: Strong hand-sketching and rendering skills. In-depth knowledge of gemstones, diamonds, and metallurgy.
Soft Skills:
High attention to detail, creative storytelling, and ability to meet strict production timelines.
