About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate Senior Software Engineer / Lead Engineer to join our Agile engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and implementing scalable workflow solutions while driving engineering excellence across distributed systems. You will have the opportunity to influence architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and contribute directly to business outcomes through innovative technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and contribute to workflow orchestration and automation solutions.
- Champion best practices in workflow management, software architecture, and engineering excellence.
- Build high-quality software in a fast-paced Agile environment with a strong focus on business impact.
- Develop scalable, secure, reliable, and highly available distributed systems.
- Ensure infrastructure and applications meet defined performance, reliability, and SLA requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable, and production-ready code.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives around system design, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews across teams.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of learning,



collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 8-13 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Quarkus based application development.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.
- Experience with caching solutions and distributed computing concepts.
- Ability to understand, maintain, and enhance existing codebases.
- Solid experience with CI/CD practices, automated testing, and continuous integration.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab, and similar platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguous and evolving environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to mentor and guide engineers across experience levels.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with workflow orchestration platforms and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of performance optimization, observability, monitoring, and system resiliency.
- Experience working in high-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
