Anodyne partners with leading PSU and corporate clients, including Indian Oil, HPCL, SAIL, Asian Paints, and Coca-Cola, delivering real-time monitoring and compliance solutions across water, air, and process environments.

The IT Engineer plays a key role in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of Anodyne's technology infrastructure. The role combines strong general IT fundamentals with working exposure to industry-specific systems such as SCADA, OCEMS, gas detection networks, and industrial IoT devices deployed at client sites, supporting both internal operations and field-monitoring installations.

Key Responsibilities

1. General IT Support

- Hardware & Software Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across desktops, laptops, servers, and office networks.
- System Installation & Configuration: Install and configure hardware, operating systems, and applications as per user and project requirements.
- Network Maintenance: Manage LAN/WAN connectivity and network security, including VPNs, firewalls, and switches.
- Help Desk Support: Act as first point of contact for internal staff on technical issues, logging, resolving, and escalating tickets as needed.

2. Industry-Specific Responsibilities

- SCADA & OCEMS Monitoring: Support the monitoring, uptime, and basic troubleshooting of SCADA and OCEMS systems deployed for client water and emission monitoring installations.




- Industrial IoT & Sensor Support: Assist in the integration and upkeep of IoT sensors and gas detection devices used to track water quality, emissions, and equipment status.
- Database Management: Maintain databases tracking operational metrics such as effluent quality, emissions data, and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Process Automation Support: Assist in implementing and maintaining automation that supports water and emission treatment processes.

3. Security & Compliance

- Data Security: Implement cybersecurity practices to protect operational and client data, including patches, updates, and antivirus management.
- Regulatory Compliance Support: Support systems that ensure compliance with environmental reporting requirements for emissions, effluent, and water quality data.
- Backup & Recovery: Maintain and regularly test backup systems for critical infrastructure and operational data.

4. Project Management & Innovation

- System Upgrades: Assist in upgrading or introducing technology that improves operational efficiency and data accuracy.
- Data Analytics & Reporting: Support reporting platforms that help project and operations teams make data-driven decisions.
- Cloud & Remote Monitoring: Support cloud-based data storage and remote monitoring for client site installations.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Documentation: Maintain records of IT procedures, configurations, and system changes for continuity and troubleshooting.
- IT Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on system performance, downtime, and recommended improvements.

Key Competencies

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and service requests simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical staff and clients.
- Solid organizational skills to meet support timelines and SLAs.
- Working understanding of IT security best practices to prevent breaches or attacks.
- Awareness of data backup, recovery, and relevant compliance frameworks.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites for installation or troubleshooting support.
