Position Summary
Responsible for sheet metal forming simulations using PAMSTAMP to support product development, tooling design, manufacturability assessment and production issue resolution for automotive components.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop forming simulation models in PAMSTAMP.
• Perform meshing, material card assignment and load case setup.
• Conduct forming, thinning, wrinkling, failure and springback analysis.
• Validate simulation results against tryout and production data.
• Support die design, tooling optimization and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Prepare technical reports and engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with design, tooling, manufacturing and supplier teams globally.
• Drive continuous improvement and simulation best practices.

• Sheet metal forming and stamping knowledge
• Spring back prediction and compensation
• Formability, FLD, thinning and wrinkling analysis
• Material card definition and validation
• Root cause analysis and manufacturing support
• Solid communication skills
Preferred Skills
• Stainless steel forming (1–3 mm thickness)
• CATIA V5
• SAP GPDM / PLM systems
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing or Production Engineering.
