Crescendo Global is hiring an Investment Accountant for a leading organization in the investment and real estate sector. The role is ideal for an accounting skilled in investment accounting, fund accounting, or real estate accounting, with strong exposure to financial reporting, capital transactions, investor reporting, audit support, and Yardi.

Join a leading organization in the real estate investment and asset management space, offering an opportunity to work closely with investment, finance, investor relations, and corporate stakeholders.

Responsibilities -

1. Manage day-to-day cash transactions, bank accounts, wire/ACH transactions, and intercompany activities for assigned funds and ventures.
2. Prepare capital contribution and distribution calculations, supporting documentation, and coordinate with Investor Relations for investor communications.
3. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.
4. Support investor reporting, lender reporting, compliance certificates, financial reconciliations, and other third-party reporting requirements.
5. Assist with annual audit management, including PBC schedules, audit documentation, financial statement roll-forwards, and audited financial statements.
6. Utilize Yardi Investment Management for general ledger activities, journal entries, cash transactions, contributions, distributions, and investment-related reporting.

Requirements -

1. Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting; a Master’s degree is an added advantage.
2. 5–7 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting, Fund Accounting, Real Estate Accounting,



Private Equity, Asset Management, or Investment Management.
3. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
4. Hands-on experience with capital contributions, distributions, capital calls, investor reporting, and fund/partnership accounting.
5. Knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS, along with strong MS Excel and financial analysis skills.
6. Experience with Yardi, particularly the Investment Management module, along with audit, PBC, lender reporting, and stakeholder management exposure is highly preferred.
