Experience: 3–6 Years About Hemploom India Hemploom India is a B2B manufacturer and exporter specialising in hemp and natural-fibre textiles, fabric development and white-label garment manufacturing. We work with fashion brands, designers, sourcing companies and businesses in India and international markets, supporting them from fabric selection and sampling through production and export. As we expand our international business, we are looking for a commercially driven professional to manage leads, develop customer relationships and convert enquiries into long-term business.

Role Overview We are looking for an International Business Development & Key Accounts professional who can manage the complete sales journey from initial enquiry to order confirmation and repeat business. This is not a pure merchandising role. The ideal candidate should combine robust sales and communication skills with an understanding of textiles, apparel manufacturing, sampling, costing, MOQs and production processes.

Key Responsibilities - Manage B2B enquiries from India and international markets.

- Maintain leads, opportunities and follow-ups through the CRM.
- Qualify prospects based on customer requirements, quantities and business potential.
- Communicate with customers through email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn and video calls.
- Understand fabric and apparel requirements and recommend suitable solutions.
- Share catalogues, swatches, technical information and product options with customers.
- Coordinate internally for costing, sampling and product development.
- Prepare and present quotations, MOQs, lead times and commercial proposals.
- Follow up consistently with prospects and move opportunities towards closure.
- Handle customer objections related to pricing, MOQ, lead time and development.




- Negotiate commercial terms within approved parameters.
- Convert enquiries into sampling orders, production orders and repeat business.
- Manage existing customer accounts and identify opportunities for additional business.
- Coordinate the handover of confirmed orders to merchandising and operations teams.
- Maintain an organised sales pipeline and provide regular updates on active opportunities. Who We’re Looking For - 3–6 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Export Marketing, Key Accounts or Buyer Merchandising.
- Experience in textiles, apparel, garment export houses, sourcing, home textiles or B2B manufacturing preferred.
- Experience communicating directly with international buyers is highly desirable.
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Good commercial understanding and negotiation skills.
- Comfortable handling quotations, follow-ups and customer discussions.
- Organised and disciplined with CRM and sales pipeline management.
- Ability to work closely with merchandising, production and operations teams.
- Proactive, commercially minded and comfortable taking ownership of sales targets. Merchandisers with strong buyer-facing experience and an interest in transitioning into business development are encouraged to apply.

What Success Looks Like The role will own the customer journey: Lead → Requirement → Sampling → Quotation → Follow-up → Negotiation → Order → Repeat Business Performance will be evaluated on lead conversion, sales generated, new accounts developed, follow-up discipline and repeat business.
