The Role
As a Piping Engineer Level II with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.
Piping Design & Layout Engineering:
Develop piping layouts for mining, mineral processing, and metal extraction facilities based on P&IDs;, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and client specifications.
Ensure the layout design optimizes space, operational efficiency, and ease of installation while meeting industry safety and environmental standards.




Prepare detailed piping design drawings, including routing, support placement, and equipment integration.
Coordinate the layout of piping systems with other engineering disciplines such as civil, mechanical, and electrical to ensure seamless integration.
Select appropriate materials for piping systems based on factors such as fluid type, temperature, pressure, and environmental conditions.
FEED (Front-End Engineering Design):
Participate in the FEED phase of projects, assisting in the development of piping layouts and preliminary designs
Work with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, estimate costs, and identify potential design challenges.
Review client specifications and ensure the design aligns with technical, budgetary, and scheduling requirements.
Contribute to the development of initial piping design concepts, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
