Job Role: PYP Teacher (International Baccalaureate)
Location: DLF Phase 1, Gurgaon

We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and experienced PYP Teacher with a strong foundation in Montessori education to teach students in the Lower Primary (Grades 1–3). The ideal candidate will create an engaging, inquiry-driven learning setting that fosters curiosity, independence, creativity, and a lifelong love for learning.
The teacher will integrate the principles of the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) with the child-centred philosophy of Montessori education to support the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of every learner.

Key Responsibilities
Teaching and Learning
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the IB PYP framework.
Incorporate Montessori principles and practices to encourage independence, self-directed learning, and hands-on exploration.
Design meaningful learning experiences that develop conceptual understanding, critical thinking, collaboration, and creativity.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs,



interests, and abilities of students.
Foster literacy, numeracy, and transdisciplinary learning through engaging classroom experiences.
Integrate technology appropriately to enhance teaching and learning.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student agency and wellbeing.
Assessment and Reporting
Assess student learning using formative and summative assessment strategies.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
Provide constructive and timely feedback to students and parents.
Prepare student reports and portfolios in accordance with school and IB guidelines.
Use assessment data to inform planning and improve student outcomes.
Classroom Environment
Develop a well-organized classroom that reflects both Montessori and IB learning philosophies.
