Job Title: Financial Data Analyst
Location: New Delhi / Bengaluru
Work Experience: 1 - 3 years
Qualification: Master’s degree in Finance, or Business Analytics / CFA or equivalent.
Work Responsibilities:
Collaborating with senior management to conceptualize and develop new tech-enabled
investment banking and private equity products and internal capabilities.
Developing internal databases and repositories, along with research tools that can be used
to quickly and effortlessly obtain information from internal and external sources (such as
company filings and commercial databases) for client deliverables.
Leveraging Microsoft Excel, Python, R, Power BI, and Tableau to organise and present data
better, and create cutting-edge illustrations, dashboards, and visualisations.
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and scheduled reports that deliver timely
insights to clients.
Build repeatable data pipelines and automated workflows (ETL, refresh schedules, file
movements, approvals, alerts) using SQL, Python/R to remove manual touchpoints.




Integrate Power BI reports with other applications (embedded analytics, APIs) and manage
report publishing, access controls, and governance.

Ideal candidates should have:
Proficiency with data tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, and Tableau for data
extraction, transformation, and visualization.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including creating complex formulas and logics, working
with pivot tables, large datasets, and functionalities such as Power Query, macros and VBA.
Superior analytical skills with a structured, hypothesis-driven problem-solving approach and
strong business acumen.
Prior experience in financial services deal-making, with exposure to financial restatement,
corporate finance or transaction analysis - would be an advantage.
Strong passion to learn, with the ability to multitask and work effectively under tight
deadlines and extended hours.
