Characterizes, benchmarks, and defines requirements for design, development of proof-of-concept prototypes,



and testing of various components and technologies.
Characterizes size, performance, efficiency, cost, and requirements for various components and technologies used for DER and power distribution in microgrid, EV charging, and data center applications.
Develops and maintains documentation on component specifications, selection analysis, requirements, and simulation analysis.
Works closely with systems simulation and FEA/CFD engineers to communicate requirements, performance targets, and boundary conditions for modeling and simulation analysis.
Leads evaluation and benchmarking of recent and competitive technologies.
Collaborates with controls software engineers to establish guidelines and performance targets for energy management systems, microgrid controllers, and other functional design.
