Manager, Tax Services –Tax Technology Consulting – Oracle

Join Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited and support US-based clients as they modernize and strengthen their tax functions. This role sits within Tax Technology Consulting and focuses on Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP capabilities that impact tax. You will help clients improve tax operations through requirements gathering, solution design, process improvement, automation, testing, and implementation support. This is an opportunity to work on complex tax transformation initiatives in a global setting.

Work you'll do

As a Manager, Tax Services on the Tax Technology Consulting team, you will be responsible for:

Conduct client workshops to gather, analyze, and validate indirect tax and business requirements.
Lead requirement discovery sessions and perform fit-gap analysis between business needs and Oracle ERP capabilities.
Design, configure, and implement Oracle Tax solutions, including Oracle eBTax, Payables, Receivables, and Procure-to-Pay processes.




Advise clients on tax strategy, policies, and operating models across people, process, technology, and governance dimensions.
Evaluate current tax processes and identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digital transformation.
Design end-to-end tax solutions integrating Oracle ERP with third-party tax engines such as Vertex, Avalara, or other tax determination platforms.
Develop functional specifications and support technical teams in solution design, configuration, and testing activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional business, finance, tax, and IT stakeholders to align solutions with regulatory and operational requirements.
Support global tax compliance initiatives by translating tax regulations into Oracle system requirements and configurations.
Conduct system integration testing and user acceptance testing, including preparation of test scenarios, execution of test scripts
