About the Role
We are seeking an InDesign Data-Merge Specialist (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on variable data publishing, automated document generation, Adobe InDesign workflows, and AI-generated document evaluation.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated data merge templates, personalized print materials, catalogs, labels, certificates, and large-scale document automation workflows. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for intelligent publishing, variable data printing (VDP), and document automation.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in Adobe InDesign, data merge workflows, desktop publishing, print production, variable data publishing, or automated document generation.

Responsibilities




Create deliverables addressing real-world variable data publishing and document automation scenarios.
Annotate and evaluate AI-generated InDesign templates, personalized documents, catalogs, labels, certificates, and print-ready assets.
Assess AI outputs for layout accuracy, data integrity, formatting consistency, print readiness, and automation quality.
Design and maintain Adobe InDesign Data Merge templates for personalized brochures, catalogs, business cards, certificates, ID cards, labels, mailers, and marketing materials.
Configure and validate data merge workflows using CSV, Excel, or database-driven data sources while ensuring accurate field mapping and data population.
Develop reusable document templates with paragraph styles, character styles, master pages, tables, conditional formatting, and automated layout structures.
