Assistant Property Manager - SRSA
Position Information
Department: Property Management
Reports To (Position): Dir. Property Management, CFO
Exempt (Salaried), Full-Time
The Assistant Property Manager performs administrative and accounting tasks to support the Property Manager(s) in creating a positive working relationship between SRSA, its landlords, and tenants. This position serves as an intermediary between tenants, vendors, maintenance staff, and the accounting department to ensure: (1) tenants adhere to the terms of their lease; (2) work orders are processed and completed in a timely manner; (3) routinely scheduled property services are completed as planned; and (4) the financial administration of assigned properties, including rent collections, accounts payable, financial reporting, and budgeting support, is performed accurately and timely. The Assistant Property Manager is expected to maintain a visible presence at assigned properties, participate in an on-call rotation for assigned properties,
proactively identify and resolve operational issues, and exercise sound judgment, critical thinking, and initiative to protect the interests of property owners and tenants. This position requires a willingness to perform field work and occasional hands-on assistance, as necessary, to ensure the protected, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of assigned properties.
Duties And Responsibilities
Assist tenants in registering and navigating the SRSA Tenant Portal.
Perform routine administrative tasks:
Receive, respond to, and/or route incoming property management calls.
Collect, review, and edit payroll documents including timesheets, vacation trackers, activity reports, mileage reports, and out-of-pocket expenses for the department bi-weekly.
Review and process invoices for property bill-backs.
Maintain users and devices for the company Verizon account.
Update tenant contact lists and email distribution groups.
