About The Role

Caspar Technologies Pvt Ltd is seeking a talented and driven Power BI Developer to join our Analytics & Data Science team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining impactful business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into meaningful insights and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Power BI Solution Development

Design and develop Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models aligned with business requirements
Build efficient and reusable data models using dimensional modeling principles (Star Schema)




Develop and optimize DAX measures to support analytical and reporting requirements

Data Preparation & Integration

Transform, clean, and prepare datasets using Power Query (M)
Collaborate with data engineering and upstream teams to ensure structured and reliable data sources
Write and validate SQL queries for data extraction and profiling

Performance, Security & Governance

Optimize datasets and DAX calculations for performance and scalability
Implement and maintain Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate data access
Support deployment and lifecycle management within Power BI Service environments
Follow established governance, security, and reporting standards

Business Partnership & Enablement

Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and analytical outputs
Partner with stakeholders to build intuitive and impactful dashboards
Document metrics, assumptions, and data definitions for consistency and self-service enablement
