Why This Role Matters

As a Customer Engineering Intern, you'll work at the intersection of technology, customer success, and program management. You'll help merchants successfully onboard onto GoKwik's platform by configuring integrations, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating cross-functional go-lives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real customer problems, learns quickly, and wants hands-on exposure to SaaS, APIs, eCommerce platforms, and customer-facing engineering.

What You'll Own

- Support merchant onboarding and platform go-lives across Shopify, WooCommerce, and custom storefronts.

- Assist in configuring merchant accounts and implementing technical integrations.

- Troubleshoot integration and onboarding issues by analyzing logs, API responses, and platform behaviour.

- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Operations teams to resolve merchant queries.





- Read and understand API documentation to support merchant implementations.

- Track onboarding milestones, dependencies, and timelines to ensure smooth execution.

- Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and onboarding playbooks to improve operational efficiency.

- Communicate proactively with merchants throughout the onboarding journey and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Who You Are

- Pursuing or recently completed a B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and basic scripting in any language.

- Familiar with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and basic web application architecture.

- Comfortable learning new technologies and reading technical documentation independently.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving approach.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

- Curious, proactive, and willing to take ownership from day one.
