Studio SPD emphasizes collaboration, quality detailing, and thoughtful material selection throughout the design process. Team members work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver integrated design solutions from concept to completion.

Role Description The Interior Designer will work on full-cycle design projects, from initial client briefing and concept development to final installation and handover. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, developing space plans, creating design concepts and mood boards, and preparing detailed drawings and specifications.

The role also involves selecting finishes, fixtures, and furniture, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing on-site work to ensure design intent and quality standards are maintained.

The Interior

Designer will collaborate with the studio team to present design proposals, manage timelines,



and support project documentation. This is a full-time, in office role based in the Greater Visakhapatnam Area.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to create functional and visually cohesive layouts.
- Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience integrating interior design with architectural elements.
- Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings, including plans, elevations, and details for execution.
- Experience with FF&E; (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection, specification, and coordination.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
- Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective client communication skills and willingness to coordinate regularly with contractors and site teams.
- Experience in residential or commercial interior projects in India is an advantage.
