- Lead and manage the Instrumentation & Control engineering team.
- Define and maintain instrumentation standards, specifications, and design philosophies.
- Ensure compliance with company IMS, quality procedures, and safety requirements.
- Develop technical capability and skill depth within the instrumentation team.
- Oversee preparation and approval of:
- Instrument data sheets
- Instrument index and I/O lists
- Control narratives and logic diagrams
- Hookup drawings and loop diagrams
- Ensure correct selection of instruments for:
- Flow, pressure, level, temperature, and analytical measurements
- CHP, AHP, pneumatic conveying, and environmental systems
- Ensure designs meet functional, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Lead development and review of:
- PLC / DCS architecture
- Control philosophies and interlocks
- SCADA graphics and alarm management
- Coordinate with automation vendors for logic development, FAT, and SAT.
- Ensure cybersecurity, redundancy, and system reliability requirements are addressed.
