ABOUT THE ROLE

INTRODUCTION –

strategy for the East Uttar Pradesh market within Oxford University Press’s
School Education business. As a Senior Area Manager, Sales, you will lead a team
and play a pivotal role in delivering regional business outcomes.

This role represents a strong step forward for experienced sales professionals
looking to move into strategic and people leadership positions. It offers the

supporting the education ecosystem.

The role is particularly interesting as it combines strategic planning, team
leadership, and hands-on involvement in both print and blended/digital product
sales. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams




while building strong partnerships across schools and distribution networks.

OPPORTUNITY –

In this role, you will:

* Develop and execute sales strategies and implementation plans for print,
blended, and digital products across the region
* Lead, guide, and mentor a team of sales professionals to achieve regional
sales targets
* Support the team in delivering both print and blended product targets and
ensure alignment with business goals
* Profile potential schools across territories to ensure comprehensive market
coverage
* Strengthen relationships with existing schools to drive deeper engagement and
higher product adoption
* Drive acquisition of new schools and support high-value customer engagements
along with the team
* Build team capability by enhancing product knowledge and sales skills
* Allocate territories, define targets, and ensure adherence to organizational
systems, policies, and tools (such as i-Track, Happay, and OP)
