* As Expeditor, you are responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of
materials and equipment necessary for projects and operations. This involves
coordinating with suppliers, monitoring shipment schedules, and mitigating
delays to keep Purchase Order delivery on track.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Supply Chain Coordination: You work closely with suppliers to confirm order
details, shipping dates, and delivery times.
* Schedule Monitoring: You track the status of orders and expedite deliveries
by addressing potential delays proactively.
* Communication: You maintain regular communication with project management and
operations teams, project procurement leads, project engineers, and logistics
personnel to provide updates on manufacturing status.
* Documentation: You ensure all shipping documents, including invoices, packing
lists, and certificates, are accurate and complete.
* Problem Resolution: You identify and resolve issues that could impact the
delivery schedule.
* Vendor Management:
You evaluate supplier performance and work with vendors to
improve delivery times and reliability. You review vendor progress report
from supplier and address identified issues.
EDUCATION
* Bachelor’s Degree (preferred but not always required): ideally a degree in
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or
a related field
EXPERIENCE
* Solid organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Understanding of the oil and gas industry supply chain.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
