About the Role
We are seeking a History SME (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on historical research, historical analysis, primary and secondary source evaluation, educational content, and AI-generated history content evaluation.
In this role, you will evaluate AI-generated historical explanations, educational materials, timelines, biographies, historical analyses, research summaries, and cultural heritage content. Your expertise will help improve AI systems designed for historical reasoning, educational assistance, research support, and knowledge generation.
This position is ideal for professionals with experience in history, archaeology, museums, academia, historical research, education, archives, heritage management, or historical publishing.

Responsibilities




Review AI-generated historical articles, biographies, timelines, educational resources, research summaries, and historical analyses.
Evaluate AI-generated explanations for historical events, civilizations, political movements, wars, treaties, revolutions, cultural developments, and historical figures.
Verify dates, locations, historical terminology, primary and secondary source references, and historical interpretations using authoritative sources.
Assess AI-generated content for factual consistency, historical nuance, balanced perspectives, and evidence-based reasoning.
Identify factual inaccuracies, chronological errors, unsupported claims, anachronisms, citation issues, and contextual gaps.
Provide structured feedback to improve AI performance in historical reasoning, educational content generation, and historical research.
Review peer-developed deliverables to maintain quality and consistency standards.
