What You’ll Do

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the current company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

You will be a part of a winning team where you will get exposure to engineer Connectors & Terminal solutions for Electric Vehicle applications. You'll need to understand and support the engineering efforts for connector product group in a matrix organization as an Engineer in Connector division of Vehicle group

"Job Responsibilities

This role will contribute to design electrical connectors, terminals & busbar for electric vehicle applications.




Ideal candidate shall have strong acumen in mechanical product design with CAD skills (preferrably UGNX) with basic understanding of electronics and electrical fundamentals.
Derive requirements for the overall size, fastening, current rating, protection and mounting for electrical connectors, terminals & busbar
Develop concepts meeting the requirements and enhance from current design variants within the product portfolio
Work with Project Lead to support and execute the project activities to meet the project deliverables on time
Conduct benchmarking through soft / hard benchmarking and improvise unique design concepts that is compact, lower in weight, faster heat dissipation and other differentiated technical attributes
Perform basic calcuations of weight, load distribution, fastener loads, etc to support the design refinement of connectors, terminals and busbar
Perform electrical calculations, concept selection and valiation on busbar &
