Job Description: Area Sales Manager – Retail Secured Loans

Role Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Retail Secured Loans will be responsible for driving business growth in the Nirmal region by managing a sales team and developing a strong network of DSAs and channel partners. This role requires robust product knowledge, local market understanding, and the ability to deliver high?quality sourcing with consistent business volumes.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development

Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for secured lending products (LAP, Mortgage, Secured Business Loans).
Generate business through DSAs, local connectors, property agents, builders, and open market channels.
Expand business presence across Nirmal and surrounding mandals/towns.
Conduct regular field visits to identify new markets and customer segments.

2. Team Management

Lead a team of Sales Managers / Sales Officers.




Track funnel movement—login, sanction, disbursement—on a daily basis.
Coach, guide, and mentor the team to improve productivity and conversion ratios.
Conduct daily/weekly reviews to monitor performance and pipeline.

3. Channel / DSA Management

Identify, onboard, and activate DSAs across Nirmal and nearby catchments.
Maintain strong relationships with channel partners for continuous lead flow.
Monitor documentation quality, compliance, and credit policy adherence.
Conduct periodic visits and engagement activities to motivate partners.

4. Credit, Risk & Operations Coordination

Liaise with credit managers for eligibility assessment, legal/technical checks, and TAT adherence.
Ensure high?quality sourcing to maintain a healthy portfolio.
Work with operations to ensure smooth processing and quick disbursements.

5. Market & Competitor Intelligence

Track competitor pricing, product offerings, turnaround time, and mark
