At Lead The Way Therapy, we serve children through both Early Intervention and private clinic-based therapy, helping families in the northwest suburbs who are waiting for services or looking for individualized care. You’ll be part of a team that values continuing education, offers mentorship opportunities, and encourages therapists to grow their skills in sensory integration, motor development, self-regulation, and DIR/Floortime-based approaches.

This role includes a blend of early intervention (EI) and in-clinic services,



allowing therapists to build a well-rounded pediatric caseload.

What You’ll Do

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to assess developmental, sensory, and motor needs.
Develop individualized, family-centered goals and treatment plans.
Provide play-based therapy sessions both in the clinic and in natural environments (homes, daycares) for early intervention clients.
Support children’s growth through engaging, floor-time style interactions that promote connection, communication, and regulation.
Document sessions and progress in alignment with professional and insurance requirements.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists to support the whole child.
Empower families with strategies to continue progress at home.

Who You Are

Licensed Occupational Therapist (Illinois) – required.
Experienced or interested in working with children from birth to school-age.
