The Inside Sales Executive is responsible for generating qualified sales pipeline by identifying potential clients, initiating outreach, and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team. The role focuses on engaging with decision-makers across enterprises, understanding customer requirements, and enabling business opportunities. This position requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to convert outreach efforts into meaningful sales engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Generation & Prospecting • Identify and build a strong pipeline of potential clients, with a focus on GCCs and large enterprises. • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and other channels. • Research target accounts and identify key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Outreach & Meeting Generation • Initiate contact with CXOs, business unit heads, and L&D;/HR stakeholders. • Secure qualified meetings and appointments for the sales/account management team. • Drive consistent outreach efforts to achieve weekly and monthly targets.
- Customer Discovery & Qualification • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand customer needs and business challenges. • Capture detailed training and capability-building requirements.
• Qualify leads based on defined criteria before passing them to the sales team.
- Collaboration & Opportunity Handover • Work closely with solutioning and delivery teams to align on customer requirements. • Ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities to account managers/closing team. • Stay engaged with prospects for follow-ups and future revenue opportunities.
- CRM & Pipeline Management • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of leads, interactions, and pipeline status in CRM tools. • Track outreach effectiveness and continuously improve conversion rates. • Ensure discipline in reporting and data management.
- Performance & Target Achievement • Meet and exceed defined outreach, meeting-setting, and pipeline generation targets. • Monitor individual performance metrics and take proactive actions for improvement. • Stay updated with industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
