Your Role

As a Gensler Design Manager, you will leverage your attention to detail and interpersonal skills to deliver exceptional client projects on time and on budget. Grow your project management experience while working on trendsetting projects across industries. A focus for the role will be building client relationships and driving business opportunities.

What You Will Do

Implementing multiple projects through the management of project teams
Managing all phases of projects, including project set-up, programming, design, and construction administration
Establishing and maintaining ongoing, productive client relationships
Managing project scheduling, staffing/productivity, budgets, project set-up with clients, sub-contractors, vendors and consultants
Tracking the financial performance of projects
Preparing project proposal, negotiating fees and contracts for projects
Ensure projects conform to contract
Creating and communicating clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements
And any other related responsibility as assigned

Responsibilities





Responsible for managing the design and delivery of multiple projects
Manages contract, fees, scope, schedule, budget, communications and overall project delivery.
Scope & Complexity: Has full responsibility for managing all aspects of routine projects Primary team, client and consultant contact.
Demonstrates general knowledge in developing project scope, budgets and business development.
Supervision: Oversight from studio director or other senior staff; May manage a small to medium sized team.

Your Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture
Licensed or registered architect.
12-15 years of project experience, relevant experience in Data Center projects
Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures.
Robust leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and emotional intelligence.
