Eaton India Innovation Center (EIIC) - Aeropace FMC Hydraulics Business has an 'Engineer' open position. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the successful execution of a wide range of Aerospace Hydraulics projects, including New Product Introduction, VAVE, B&P;, and Sustaining Engineering, while driving continuous improvement to meet project KPIs (Focus 5, NPI Efficacy), and ensure stakeholder and customer satisfaction.
He/She should have experience in New Product Development (NPD), Sustaining, VAVE, and Application engineering programs preferably in the Aerospace industry. Working knowledge of overall design engineering processes encompassing "Design - Qualification - Product Launch" of 'Aerospace and/or Industrial Hydraulics Products' is required. The products should be broadly classified under Hydro-Mechanical & Electro-Mechanical products viz. Hydraulic Piston Pumps, Hydraulic Motors, Controls, Solenoid Valve products. He/She should have proficiency in managing customer requirements, concept design/selection,
detail design and analysis & design validation - product testing and qualification to enable decision making while executing the engineering work. He/she should have proficiency in mechanical design & drafting (CAD tools), GD&T; & statistical tolerancing. He/She should have proficiency in preparing and managing schedules, NRE (Non recurring engineering estimates), risk management; good communication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with an ability to make necessary status reports and technical presentations to Eaton management and global stakeholders. Design for Six Sigma know-how and DFSS GB certification is preferred.
