Job Purpose:



This role is responsible for managing the maintenance and operational integrity of rail track systems, including the management of resources, equipment, and materials in accordance with established plans and standards. This role also includes ensuring the timely execution of tasks to maintain track availability, contributing to budget planning, and upholding safety and cleanliness standards. Additionally, this role will be involved in reporting, documentation, compliance with railway audits, and the development of maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

Lead Engineer - Rail Track Maintenance

Resource And Operational Management

Ensure adherence to the resource plan for Rail track equipment, including the Switching system, Hand points, track system, track alignment, cant, and versine parameters.

Ensure the packing of ballast and Sleepers, and maintain the condition of CMS crossings, Tongue rails, rolling stock, Check rails, and maintenance and measuring tools
