Job Purpose:



This role is responsible to lead and provide technical direction for the entire unit to the team, ensuring the productive and reliable operations of the station, while developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans in collaboration with peers and section heads. This includes overseeing the healthiness and operations of the main plant equipment, proactive planning and execution of systems to prevent future problems, and ensuring the implementation of improvement projects.

Responsibilities

Operational Support and Efficiency:

Assist in the operation of all units, switchyard, and BOP with maximum efficiency during the shift.

Support routine operational activities such as the lineup of units and their auxiliaries, changeover of equipment, and routine testing of protection and annunciation systems during the shift.

Support unit wise operations and handle emergencies including load throw off, unit tripping, equipment tripping, and generation loss.
