Position Details

- Designation: Import-Export Assistant
- Location: Ahmedabad
- Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations or logistics.
- Strong knowledge of documentation and record-keeping for international trade.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) for reports and tracking.
- Familiarity with DGFT procedures and online portals such as DGFT and ICEGATE is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Import-Export Documentation: Prepare, verify, and maintain all required shipping and customs documents to ensure smooth operations.
- Track & Monitor Shipments: Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders,



and transporters to monitor consignments and address any delays.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Follow international trade regulations, government guidelines, and company policies to avoid penalties and disruptions.
- Record-Keeping: Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all import and export transactions, including invoices, bills of lading, and shipping details.
- Resolve Discrepancies: Identify and rectify documentation or procedural discrepancies during shipment processes.
- Liaise with Authorities & Portals: Handle DGFT, ICEGATE, and other regulatory portals to ensure timely approvals, filings, and compliance.
- Support Global Supply Chain: Work closely with internal teams to align logistics with production, procurement, and sales requirements.
