We are looking to hire one (1) full time Research Associate (RA) to conduct a study titled “Rate of Urbanisation and Urban Sustainability in 3 Major Cities of Bihar.”

Responsibilities

Assisting in field survey, data analysis

Assisting with the preparation of reports and presentations

Qualifications: Postgraduate in Urban Planning/Economics/Development Studies/Geography/Development Planning/Statistics with minimum 55% marks. An M. Phil degree in such subjects will be an asset, but not a must. Students planning to apply to PhD programmes or those transitioning between jobs may also apply.





Candidates With The Following Skills Will Be Preferred

Good organizational skills, with demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
Fluent in English and Hindi;
Ability to work remotely and travel to the field;
Work experience will be an advantage;
Resourceful and detail-oriented;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Proven ability to work independently in challenging contexts

Benefits and timeline: The compensation will be as per the stipulated guidelines. You will work in close collaboration with senior researchers and there will be opportunity for learning. This is a fixed-term assignment of 10 months. The location of the job is Patna, Bihar.
